Just getting started and love it!

I personally loved it ..

I have two Boss loopers with rhythms, the RC-3 and the RC-500. The BB easily adds more flavors to practice. I can plug it into any speaker system or amp as a standalone item. Switching beats is effortless, lightening fast, and the choices numerous. If I was starting over, I'd forgo the quality loopers with rhythms for the BB and an economical looper unit. The variety of uses and the quality of the sound justify the cost. The Black Anniversary unit is cool.

Amazing product! Solidly made and cleverly thought out. The most useful drum machine I have ever used!

I am still learning how to use it, so far I'm really liking it. The sound is incredible!

Using the BB2 / Superswitch combo has allowed me to bravely explore the radical concept of making music without being legally and emotionally tied to a drummer. Don’t get me wrong, I adore being in a band. Nothing warms my heart quite like our drummer arriving “fashionably” late, heroically forgetting his cymbals again, and launching into the first song like he’s starting a different gig entirely.

Then there’s the magical tempo surfing: It’s like watching a metronome have an existential crisis.

Of course, post-show brings its own joys: watching him flirt with the barmaid while we disassemble the Great Pyramid of Drum Hardware; discovering he’s had one pint too many and now needs one of us to chauffeur his van; providing emergency kebab procurement services; and then coordinating a second driver retrieval mission from the gig. Truly, a team-building exercise.

And yet… somehow… using a BeatBuddy 2 live just feels so much less… I don’t know… freaking stressful?

Of course you know I had to send the midi maestro back because it would not work properly with the firmware update iPhone. Not too happy that it wasn’t a full refund. Was not my fault that it’s not compatible with the operating system on the iPhone. You really need to straighten that out.

Should have built Bluetooth capabilities into the BB from the start IMO but that would’ve added cost to some who never use it. I use it. It is awesome to choose a song on my iPad and have it communicate to my BB. Works flawlessly with my wireless

Pure and simple, the Beat Buddy 2 is both a game changer in the practice room as well as the stage. What musician doesn’t want a better command of rhythm or a boost in creativity? Also, tech support for BB2 is timely and spot on. BB2 is a no brainer. You want and need one!

This inexpensive cable system is first class it does exactly what it says on the tin long or short cables no longer a problem.

Full on it sounds great as described. Turned back it makes any mistakes less noticable.
